SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - SHEFFIELD, SOUTH YORKSHIRE - JOB REF: JO39329
 
We are delighted to be working with a successful well-established practice in Sheffield. They are looking to recruit a strong practice candidate to join their business services department providing a mixture of accounts, bookkeeping and management accounting services to clients. The successful candidate would need to have a number of years practice experience and have experience preparing accounts, bookkeeping and management accounts in a practice environment.
The plan for the successful candidate will be a staged progression through to a mangers role in the short to medium term.
 
Duties of the role include:-
 
·Preparation and review of limited company, sole trader and partnership accounts.
·Prepare management accounts from processed data and review for completeness and accuracy.
·Assist in the delivery of bookkeeping services accurately and efficiently to ensure deadlines and client expectations are met.
 
Candidate Requirements:
 
·A minimum of 3 years practice experience.
·ACCA/ACA fully qualified with post qualification experience preferred but nearly qualified will still be considered
·5 Years QBE
·Strong accounts preparation, bookkeeping and management accounts skills.
·Be experienced in online accounting packages preferably Xero, SAGE Line 50.
·Great interpersonal communications skills both written and oral.
